According to the memorandum approved by the Romanian Government, it will grant 550,000 euros to Moldova in order to develop the detailed technical design for the construction of Ungheni-Chisinau gas pipeline.
The 550,000 euros grant will be allocated under the agreement between the two governments regarding the implementation of technical and financial assistance under a grant worth 100 million euros offered earlier to Moldova by Romania. The grant is aimed for the second phase of gas pipeline that connects gas transmission systems of Moldova and Romania.
