Romanian Post (CNPR) announced that its electricity supply is now provided by the suppliers of last resort, after three licensed suppliers declined the initially agreed framework agreement because they are unable to support the offered tariffs.
The statement from CNPR said that it analyzes all the possibilities to solve this situation as quickly as possible and reserves the right to bring to court the three promising suppliers for unfulfillment of the provisions of the electricity supply framework agreement with a view to recovering any financial damages. The supply of electricity to CNPR as of May 2016 should have been provided in accordance with the framework agreement concluded between the Romanian Post and three licensed electricity suppliers – SC Tinmar Energy, SC Elsaco Energy and E.ON Energie Romania.
