Romanian majority state-owned natural gas producer Romgaz announced that it has made new hydrocarbons discovery in the Romanian territory, namely in block RG.06 Muntenia Nord-Est in Buzau county.
The production tests at two exploration wells (Damianca 55 and 77 Rosetti) have confirmed important hydrocarbons accumulations and yielded daily production between 1,400 and 2,200 barrels of oil equivalent per well. Total reserves are estimated to be between 150 and 170 million barrels of oil equivalent.
