Romanian oil company Rompetrol Rafinare, which operates within KMG International Group, increased its pre-tax profit in the first half of 2016 by 60 %, while the company’s turnover dropped by 14 % compared to the same period last year.
The company, which operates Petromidia and Vega oil refineries, achieved profit in the amount of 12.6 million euros in the first six months of this year, while its turnover amounted to 1.5 billion euros in the same period. By comparison, Rompetrol Rafinare achieved turnover of 1.77 billion euros in the first half of 2015.
