French RTE, a subsidiary of EDF Group, is currently considering making a binding bid for 24 % stake in Greek electricity transmission system operator ADMIE.
CEO of RTE Francois Brottes said that the company has been approved as a candidate bidder in the first round of the tender, but it has not submitted a binding offer yet as it has been waiting for some additional info from the Greek Public Power Corporation (PPC). The deadline for the submission of bids for the purchase of 24 % stake in ADMIE has been recently extended to 21 October.
