According to Bosnian media, Russia is seeking 98 million dollars from Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) in outstanding gas debt for deliveries made by Gazprom during 1991-1995 period.
Debt for natural gas delivered during the war in BiH was initially 104.8 million dollars, but in the recent years one of two Bosnian entities, the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) has repaid 5.8 million dollars. Few years back, the two entities agreed to repay half of the gas debt each, but the agreement never passed the RS National Assembly.
