The sale of 100 % stake in in Turkish Petroleum Distribution Corporation, a subsidiary of state-owned Turkish Petroleum, to Turkuaz Petrol, a subsidiary of Zulfikarlal Holding, for some 130 million dollars has been officially completed and it was named the largest privatization transaction in 2016.
As a result of this privatization, more than 400 petrol stations, seven fuel storage facilities, 330,000 cubic meters of fuel storage capacity and two liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) filling stations were transferred to Turkuaz Petrol.
