The head of Turkish subsidiary of Saudi energy company ACWA Power, Abid Hussain Malik said that the company is planning to build 340 MW wind farm in Turkey in order to diversify its business in renewables.
Malik stated that if the license for the project is awarded in this year, the company will start the construction of 340 MW wind farm. Turkey regularly allocates renewable investment licenses, but companies are usually awarded less capacity than they request because investment demand exceeds the capacity quotas set by the Government.
