The Slovenian-Czech investment fund J&T, which acquired shares in Slovenian energy company Petrol between 2014 and 2015, is looking for a buyer for its 12 % stake in the company.
When it acquired Petrol’s shares, J&T hid behind an account opened in one Czech bank, as well as behind a Cypriot company, which also took part in MOL’s acquisition of majority stake in Croatian oil company INA. Slovenian Government was concerned that MOL is behind the J&T’s acquisition of shares in Petrol, but it was later denied by MOL.
