Small hydropower plant (SHPP) Medna on the Sana river near Ribnica, in which over 20 million euros was invested, has been officially put into operation.
The Minister of Industry, Energy and Mining of the Republic of Srpska (RS), Petar Djokic, along with the representatives of Slovenian Interenergo and Austrian Kelag, attended the opening ceremony and stressed the importance of this energy facility for Ribnica municipality as well as for entire RS. He reminded that this is the third SHPP built by these investors in RS, in which they invested over 35 million euros.
