Ian Bradshaw, Managing Director of TAP AG, the company in charge of Trans-Adriatic gas pipeline (TAP) project, confirmed that Siemens Power and Gas will supply six 15 MW SGT-400-driven turbo compressor trains for the project.
Each of the six gas turbine driven compressor trains consists of a SGT-400 industrial gas turbine and a Siemens barrel-type STC-SV compressor. According to tender documentation, three compressor trains will be delivered to Kipoi compressor station in Greece, which represent the beginning of the pipeline at Greek-Turkish border. The remaining three compressor trains will be installed at the compressor station on Greek-Albanian border.
