Polona Lah from the Center for Energy Efficiency of Jozef Stefan Institute said that Slovenian electricity prices for both households and industry are lower than the European average.
She pointed out that households in Slovenia pay 20 % lower electricity prices than the European average, while the gap is even higher regarding prices for business consumers, which are 30 % lower. Lah concluded that due to this fact Slovenia is more competitive than other EU countries.
