Snam to acquire 17 % stake in DESFA – Greece, 23 May 2016

According to the Head of Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund (HRADF) Stergios Pitsiorlas, Italian gas infrastructure company Snam will acquire 17 % of SOCAR’s 66 % stake in Greek natural gas transmission system operator DESFA.
Pitsiorlas stressed that the privatization of DESFA will be competed in the near future and that the sale of part of SOCAR’s share in DESFA to Italian Snam is expected to take place very soon.
