President of State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) Rovnag Abdullayev said that the company still plans to complete the acquisition of Greek natural gas transmission system operator DESFA but, according to him, the price should be reduced.
Abdullayev said that the Greek state has made some steps which violate the tender process, thus the adequate price for DESFA now should be half of the initial price in 2013, adding that SOCAR does not plan to withdraw from the deal, but is expecting some explanation from the Greek Government.
