CEO of the Norwegian energy company Statkraft Christian Rynning-Tonnesen said in an interview that the company has no plans to leave the Turkish market. The company currently operates two hydropower plants in Turkey.
There were speculations that Statkraft is prepared to withdraw from the Turkish market following the failed coup this summer. In June, the company announced that it has launched a process for sale of its partially built hydropower plant Cetin and expects that the sale will be completed by the end of the year.
