According to the electricity transmission system operator Transelectrica (TEL), the overall power output in renewable energy sources (RES) power plants in Romania in the end of September stood at 4,725 MW.
Out of this amount, 2,805 MW was in wind farms, 1,245 MW in solar power plants, 574 MW in small hydropower plants (HPPs) and 101 MW was in biomass power plants.
In the end of the last year, the overall power output in RES plants stood at 4,349 MW.
