A telecommunications company Telekom Slovenije has submitted a request to state regulatory authorities for a permission to expand its business activities, because the company is planning to include electricity supply in its offer, as well as to enter the insurance business.
The press release from the company said that it hopes that it will cover the field of electricity sales by the end of this year, but firmly states that telecommunications will remain its core business. The reason for the expansion of business is the fact that the company has a large subscriber base and it can offer new services on “all in one place” principle.
