TPP Gacko 2 could be completed in 4 years – Bosnia and Herzegovina, 17 August 2016

The Minister of Industry, Energy and Mining of the Republic of Srpska (RS), Petar Djokic said that the Government is determined to invest in Gacko municipality in the coming period, especially in the energy sector, which has the most potential.
As one of the key projects in this municipality, Minister Djokic emphasized the construction of the new unit at thermal power plant Gacko. He said that the Government has signed two framework agreements with two Chinese companies and expressed his confidence that in cooperation with one of them, or even both of them regarding of the selected investment model, new 300 MW unit will be built.
