TPP Stanari will be put into operation in one month’s time – Bosnia and Herzegovina, 25 August 2016

President of the Republic of Srpska (RS) Milorad Dodik and Chinese Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina Chen Bo have expressed their mutual satisfaction with the fact that thermal power plant Stanari, a large energy projects realized in cooperation between China and RS, should be put into operation in one month’s time.
President Dodik and Ambassador Chen also discussed the platform “16 plus 1”, which is created by China and involves the cooperation of the country with the countries of Central and Eastern Europe. Chinese companies have shown interest in participating in many energy projects both in the Republic of Srpska and the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, such as the construction of unit 7 at TPP Tuzla, unit 2 at TPP Gacko, the construction of 350 MW TPP Banovici and others.
