Romanian electricity transmission system operator Transelectrica announced that it has completed the modernization of the Tihau substation, which supplies Northern Transylvania, following an investment of 2.15 million euros.
The statement from the company said that the modernization works were necessary to eliminate the new standards and norms of projection and execution, especially of the ones regarding the reliability and the flaws elimination time, the improvement of exploitation conditions and exploitation and maintenance expenses reduction, by assembling some modern equipment and adapting some constructive solutions to the current technologies.
