Romanian electricity transmission system operator Transelectrica announced that as of 1 July, the average tariff for the transport service dropped by 9.8 %, while the service tariff was lowered by 14.5%, while the technology services tariff fell by 18.9 %.
Thus, an order of the National Regulatory Authority for Energy (ANRE) regarding the approval of the new tariffs, which were calculated in accordance with the applicable methodologies, was published in the Official Gazette. The new tariffs are valid between 1 July 2017 and 30 June 2018. The electricity transmission tariff dropped by 9.8 % to 3.68 euros/MWh.
