Romanian natural gas transmission system operator Transgaz has bought 2,83 million euros worth of gas from WIEE Romania, wholly-owned subsidiary of Russian gas company Gazprom, one of the largest gas importers on the domestic market.
Transgaz bought the gas for the physical balancing of the national gas transport system. The company has concluded five contract with WIEE Romania on the exchange, two worth 450,000 euros, another two worth 720,000 euros and another one worth 480,000 euros, all without VAT.
