Romanian natural gas transmission system operator Transgaz recorded a net profit in the amount of 63.2 million euros in the first half of 2016, which is 12.3 % less than in the same period last year, mostly due to higher operating expenses.
The company’s total revenues amounted to almost 208 million euros during this period, which is 4 % more than in the first half of 2015. However, revenues from natural gas transport in Romania, which is Transgaz’ most important revenue sources, dropped by 4.5 % and reached 142 million euros.
