Transgaz’ shareholders approved joining Regasificadora del Noroeste for DESFA bid – Romania, 19 January 2018

The Extraordinary General Meeting of shareholders of the Romanian natural gas transmission system operator Transgaz has approved the establishment of a consortium with Spanish company Regasificadora del Noroeste in order to bid for the stake in Greek gas transmission system operator DESFA.
The General Meeting has also empowered the General Manager of Transgaz Ion Sterian to negotiate and sign all documents related to this association. Regasificadora del Noroeste will be the leader of the consortium.
