Trilateral gas negotiations to continue in September – Region, 25 August 2016

According to Russian media, the European Commission Vice-President in charge of Energy Union Maros Sefcovic will travel to Moscow on 11 September in order to attend the trilateral gas negotiations between Russia and Ukraine with the mediation of the EU.
The source from the European Commission (EC) confirmed that Sefcovic will meet with relevant Ministers of Energy and one of the goals of the meeting will be to explore the interest of the involved parties before the start of 2016/17 heating season.
