Turkish Privatization Administration (OIB) announced that by the end of September it will receive bids for the privatization of five hydropower plants. The HPPs in question are located near three cities in Central Turkey: Kayseri, Kahramanmaras and Tokat.
OIB said that the privatization will be performed in three groups: first group includes HPP Camlica near Kayseri, second group includes HPP Menzelet and HPP Kilavuzlu near Kahramanmaras and the third group includes HPP Almus and HPP Kokluce near Tokat. The installed capacity of these HPPs varies from 27 MW to 124 MW, with the total installed capacity amounts to 376 MW.
