Turkish-Albanian consortium consisting of Ayen Enerji and Fusha has won a 35-years concession contract for the construction and operation of 120 MW hydropower plant on the Vjosa river.
According to the statement from the Albanian Ministry of Energy, project for the construction of HPP Vjosa is worth about 125 million euros and the plant should be built within two and a half years. Annual electricity generation is estimated at 366.6 million kWh.
