Director of Business Development at Ukrainian oil and gas company Naftogaz Yuriy Vitrenko said that the price of natural gas offered by Russian Gazprom is too high and that Ukraine will not consider purchasing it at such conditions.
Vitrenko explained that Russian Ministry of Energy informed Naftogaz that Gazprom will supply natural gas at the price of some 182-183 dollars per 1,000 cubic meters, which is, according to Gazprom, lower than the market price. However, Ukraine does not share the same opinion and considers that the price is too high.
