Unauthorised usage of Zenica-Travnik gas pipeline – Bosnia and Herzegovina, 3 August 2016

Bosnian state-owned gas company BH-Gas announced that the newly built gas pipeline section between Zenica and Novi Travnik was unauthorizedly accessed by unknown perpetrator, who performed unauthorized release of gas in the aforementioned section of the pipeline.
Acting Director of BH-Gas Jasmin Salkic said at the press conference that the company informed the relevant police station in Novi Travnik and the Federal Police Administration as well. He said that the release of gas was done by professionals who know how the pipeline works and which valves have to be unscrewed.
