Romanian electricity producer Nuclearelectrica, which operates the country’s sole nuclear power plant Cernavoda, announced that unit 1 has been reconnected to the grid on 25 June, after the successful completion of scheduled maintenance works.
Unit 1 at NPP Cernavoda has been taken offline on 6 May in order to perform planned maintenance works, which are carried out every two years for each of the reactors at the plant.
