Unit A1 of TPP Nikola Tesla A back online – Serbia, 28 July 2016

A subsidiary of Serbian power utility EPS – TENT, which operates TPP Nikola Tesla compex, announced that the major overhaul of unit A1 at TPP Nikola Tesla A has completed and the unit was successfully synchronized to the grid.
Srdjan Josipovic, Head of mechanical maintenance at TENT, said that during the overhaul, the complete tube system of reheaters at the boiler was replaced, its tightness in critical areas was increased and new safety valves on steam pipeline were installed. The housing of stop-valve on high-pressure turbine was also replaced.
