US Deputy Secretary of State Anthony Blinken has given support to Bulgarian efforts in order to achieve the higher degree of energy diversification.
United States welcomes the country’s efforts to achieve supply diversification and energy independence, said Blinken after his meeting with the Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov. Bulgaria is heavily dependent on Russian natural gas supply, and currently it is supplied via the pipelines through Ukraine and Romania.
