Austrian oil and gas company OMV has announced the sale of its Turkish subsidiary Petrol Ofisi to Swiss oil trading company Vitol for 1.368 billion euros.
Besides Vitol, Saudi Aramco and State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) have also placed bids. The transaction, which is now subject to regulatory approval, is expected to be completed in the third quarter of this year at the latest.
