CROPEX launched the SIDC (XBID) backup solution – Croatia, 05 June 2023

During the SIDC (XBID) outage, starting from 5 June 2023, a local backup solution is offered on the CROPEX intraday platform, allowing members to trade intraday within the local delivery area.

New local contracts replace SIDC contracts, and members can immediately place new orders in the same way as before.

The backup solution runs on the CROPEX local platform and is independent of SIDC’s central systems. Once the SIDC (XBID) central platform issue is resolved, CROPEX will close the backup solution, and all orders on the backup solution will be deactivated.

Over the past period, a notable increase in activity and volumes has been observed on the CROPEX intraday market. Recognizing this trend, the implementation of the backup solution will provide members with additional flexibility in their trading operations.tracts replace SIDC contracts, and members can immediately place new orders in the same way
