Electricity prices for households dropped by 0.25 % – Macedonia, 30 June 2016

President of the Macedonian Energy Regulatory Commission (REK) Dimitar Petrov announced that the price of electricity will be decreased by 0.01 % for power utility ELEM, 7.99 % for electricity transmission operator MEPSO and 9.71 % for electricity distributor EVN.
Thus, the price of electricity for household customers will be decreased by 0.25 % as of 1 July. According to Petrov, the main reason for the drop in prices is lower cost reported by the companies ELEM, MEPSO and EVN.
