Laszlo Miszori, the owner of the thermal well in Tura near Budapest, announced that the company Turawell is planning to invest almost 32 million euros in the construction of thermal power plant and a greenhouse.
Singapore based KS Orca Renewables, which has 51 % stake in Turawell, is planning to invest 10.8 million euros in the construction of 2.7 MW geothermal power plant. It is expected that the plant will be completed next year and will generate enough electricity to power about 800 households. The preparatory works for the construction of the plant will cost additional 6.6 million euros.
