Director of the Energy Community Secretariat Artur Lorkowski said that none of the Energy Community contracting parties, including those in the Western Balkans, as things currently stand, can obtain an exemption from the cross-border CO2 tax (CBAM) for electricity exports by the time its implementation begins on 1 January 2026.
